During your Appointment
We offer a fully customized Nano Brows experience to enhance your natural features and create beautifully defined, fuller eyebrows. Your appointment begins with a one-on-one consultation where we take time to understand your desired look. Using the Golden Ratio, we map the ideal brow shape to complement your facial structure with balance and symmetry.
Once we select the right pigment to match your skin tone and hair color, we carefully pre-draw the shape so you can see and approve the design. Then, using a digital machine and ultra-fine needle, our artist creates hyperrealistic hair strokes that blend seamlessly into your existing brows.

What’s the difference between Microblading and Nano Brows?
Microblading uses a handheld blade to manually create hair-like strokes in the skin, while Nano Brows are done with a machine and a single ultra-fine needle. Nano Brows tend to be gentler on the skin, last longer, and are ideal for more skin types, especially oily or sensitive skin.
Is a consultation required?
Before booking a permanent makeup appointment at Dermaluxe Spa, all new clients are required to submit clear photos of their brows. These must be uploaded during online booking or emailed to contact@dermaluxespa.com within 24 hours to ensure we can properly review your brows.
If you’ve had previous permanent makeup done by another artist, a consultation is required before booking to assess your eligibility.
Please note: If you arrive for your appointment without prior consultation and we are unable to proceed due to previous work or other factors, your deposit will be forfeited.

How should I prepare for my appointment?
To get the best results from your eyebrow procedure at Dermaluxe Spa, follow these important prep steps:
Do not pluck, wax, or tweeze your brows before your appointment.
Avoid using dyes, bleach, or semi-permanent brow gels that stain the skin.
Refrain from taking Aspirin, Fish Oil, Niacin, Vitamin E, or Ibuprofen 48–72 hours before your appointment.
Stay away from alcohol and caffeine for at least 48 hours prior.
If you take anticoagulants, get medical approval to pause them at least 5 days in advance.
Drink plenty of water the day before your treatment.
Schedule any Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin injections at least 2 weeks before or after your appointment.
Do not get chemical peels or laser treatments within 6 weeks of your brow procedure.
Discontinue prescription retinoid creams at least 2 weeks beforehand.
Avoid tanning or sun exposure for 2 weeks before and after your appointment.
Following these guidelines will help ensure your skin is in the best condition for safe, effective results.
What can I expect after my procedure?
Healing after permanent makeup varies by person and treatment area, but proper aftercare is key to achieving the best results. During the first 10 days after your procedure, be sure to avoid the following:
Touching the area: Keep hands off the treated area to reduce the risk of infection.
Picking or scratching: Do not rub, scratch, or pick at scabs or flaking skin to avoid pigment loss and scarring.
Water exposure: Keep the area dry—avoid long showers, swimming, saunas, and hot tubs.
Sweating: Refrain from heavy workouts or anything that causes excessive sweating.
Makeup: Avoid using makeup on or near the treated area to prevent irritation or contamination.
Skincare products: Do not apply creams, exfoliants, or active skincare ingredients unless advised by your artist.
Sun exposure: Stay out of direct sunlight and tanning beds, as UV rays can cause premature fading.
Sleeping on your face: Try to sleep on your back to avoid pressure and friction on the treated area.
Alcohol and caffeine: Minimize both, as they may thin the blood and interfere with healing.
Facial treatments: Avoid chemical peels, facials, or laser treatments that can affect the healing site.
Following these guidelines will help your permanent makeup heal beautifully and last longer.
How long does the procedure take?
The duration varies depending on the area being treated and the complexity of the design. Typically, a session can last anywhere from 1 to 3 hours.
How long do nano brows typically last?
Nano Brows is a wonderful way to enhance your natural beauty, and it’s designed to last for a good while. Typically, it can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, and often even longer, depending on factors such as your skin type, aftercare routine, and lifestyle habits.
Individuals with oily skin may find that the pigments fade faster. Similarly, those who engage in activities that cause excessive sweating, such as hot yoga, swimming, or sun exposure, may also notice quicker fading. On the other hand, individuals with normal to dry skin may find that the pigments last longer. Additionally, people who take good care of their skin by avoiding exfoliants and acids around the brow area that may cause fading, may also find that the results last longer.
Are touch-ups necessary?
Yes, a touch-up may be necessary for Nano Brows, but only if there is significant pigment loss or uneven fading after the initial session. This follow-up allows us to refine any areas where the pigment may not have retained evenly or where hair strokes have faded more quickly. It also ensures proper color distribution and allows for minor adjustments to shape, symmetry, or the addition of a few extra strokes if needed. Since all permanent makeup gradually fades over time, this step helps maintain the natural, seamless look of your brows. If a touch-up is required, we recommend scheduling it 6 to 8 weeks after your initial procedure to achieve the best, long-lasting results.
Can you correct or improve previous brow work?
It depends on the individual whether we can fix nano brows done elsewhere. In most cases, we are able to help, but at times we may not accept clients. Several factors come into play, including the number of sessions previously done, the placement of ink (wrong shape), the color of the ink used (unnatural colors like blue, green, or purple), and the saturation (too dark). Not every client is a candidate for corrections, and in some cases, removal may be required before any further work can be done. If there is too much scar tissue, residual color, or hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation even after removal, we will not offer additional permanent makeup services. Each situation is unique, and a thorough consultation is necessary to determine the best course of action.
Who should avoid getting nano brows?
Permanent eyebrow makeup isn’t suitable for everyone. You may need to postpone or avoid the procedure if you:
Have active skin irritations such as acne, rosacea, eczema, dermatitis, or infections in the brow area
Recently had Botox injections (wait at least two weeks)
Are using Retinol or Tretinoin (discontinue at least two weeks before)
Have had recent facials, chemical peels, laser treatments, or cosmetic injections in the area (wait at least one month)
Have extremely oily skin or large pores that may affect pigment retention
Have had an eyebrow hair transplant (we do not proceed with PMU in this case)
A consultation is always recommended to determine if you’re a good candidate and to ensure safe, effective results.
